Challenge
Pigeon Forge Snow, the first indoor snow complex in America, is a huge indoor snow tubing attraction with twelve lanes of downhill snow tubing and a snow play area that is open all year round. They were looking for ways to improve guest experiences at the indoor snow tubing facility, but were limited by the size and shape of the building. They reached out to Luxedo, who suggested using projection mapping to create a huge image on the 100 foot wall at the top of the snow tubing area.
Solution
A combination of Luxedo's projection mapping technology and Optoma high brightness laser projectors has enabled Pigeon Forge to create a visually stunning and immersive experience for their guests. Using four of the ZU1300 bright 14,400 lumens laser projectors with a short throw BX-CTA17 lens they were able to transform the large back wall into the center piece for their snow tubing hill. Utilizing Optoma projectors along with Luxedo's software, they are now able to advertise, entertain, and theme their huge display wall all at the click of a button.

Results
"The results have been amazing," said Matthew Ayers, owner of Pigeon Forge. For content they had a custom immersive video created that provides an interactive experience for the tubers as well as non-tubing spectators.
