Write a ReviewI like the picture quality. But Samsung Tizen and menus are quite bad, and slow... The worst thing though is the poor quality. I have now had mine for 6 months and I have had to send it for repair twice already. 1. Bad pixel which I have seen is quite common 2. Suddenly no picture at all and some strange humming noises from the speaker during startup... So, I would not recommend anyone to buy this projector as quality is poor at a premium price.
I rarely write reviews online, but I had to write one for this. I did some reading before buying this device, including here. My setup was: this projector + Apple TV + 2 external speakers. Let me break that down for you: 1. Two good things about this device: value for money and its image quality. That's it. 2. The software is freaking slow. 3. They include freaking advertisements in the software, which is insane. 4. You could think – that's not that bad, but – the image started to disappear from time to time, 10 days after the purchase the projector broke – fortunately it was replaced for a new one, that's a plus, but not for Samsung, but for the shop I bought it from. Then the image started to disappear during watching – 1-2 seconds - "not a big deal". It broke after a year. Samsung customer support is the freaking worst. The authorized place they sent it to has been keeping the device for 1.5 month. And this is the main reason you should not go for the device. Once it breaks, you're on your own. This is the first and last time I bought a somehow expensive product from Samsung. Never again.
Samsung service is useless…they never return calls! One of the worst in customer service! The projector does not receive any firmware/software updates, I have Called Samsung 6 times….zero response!
